What is ITA Affiliation?

As an individual national trombone society, the British Trombone Society comes under the global umbrella organisation of the International Trombone Association. The ITA publishes a quarterly journal as well as hosting a large number of different events. For more details, read all about the ITA on the International Trombone Association website. As members of the British Trombone Society, we are able to take advantage of the preferential membership rate on offer to us from the ITA.

How much does it cost?

UK resident British Trombone Society Members are able to pay into an ITA UK bank account in pounds sterling. The special rate is £18, representing a saving of £14 on the full price of £32. Membership subscriptions are collected annually on either 1st January, 1st April, 1st July or 1st October. Members are encouraged to pay by standing order wherever possible as this is both easier to manage and cheaper.
